New Beads

Yeh! Nothing like getting new beads in the mail. Especially ones form India, they are wrapped so preciously with a cotton bag over the plastic case and then red wax seals. I love it. So here are just a few of the beauties. I thought I would also take a pic of my work space. I love work spaces, tools and little nooks and crannies....
Well it has been raining here for about three months. The markets have been cancelled numerous times and it has put a dampener on the summer feel. Queensland is having a terrible time with absolutely massive flooding, I think the biggest ever or at least in 100 years. The place looks like an inland sea. So down here in New South Wales I can't really complain.

Heart Breads Christmas Fare

This weekend I participated in a wonderful event at the home of Heart Breads at Broken Head. A beautiful 5 acre property with a wonderful old fig tree at it's center. Luckily the rain held off and the weather was pleasant. There were only a few stalls as this was the first year, but the atmosphere was great. Live music, WONDERFUL bread and lovely people. It was really a great time. I got to meet heaps of people and did a good trade. I'm hoping it continues next year and becomes a regular thing. Thanks to Rachel for her insight!

Here are some new earrings I have made recently. Part of my 2010 summer designs. I'm loving the colours.

Growing

A lot has happened since I started this whole blogger thing and then never continued. I have had another child, little Ari, he is 14 months now, so that makes three little rug rats! Yes three. I know how do I even find any time to make new stuff.
Well I suppose I am super organised and try to plan ahead what I am going to make in the allocated time I have while he is sleeping.
Anyway...all is well and I think I am going to use this a little more often to express some ideas and thoughts.
There are sooo many wonderful and talented artists out there I just wish I could meet them all and have unlimited time to learn something new from all of them.
A couple of things I have been interested in lately are:
Getting a sales rep, or how to grow the business side of making jewellery.
Getting into 18 and 22k gold...oh my dream come true.
Studying in Israel...my other dream come true.
So until next time...
Here is my new website!!!

Beautiful Byron Bay

Byron Bay Community Markets

The picture to the left is my stall at the Byron Bay Community Markets, I will be adding a few more pics soon. This is one of three markets I participate in around my shire. It's great being out and meeting people, getting feedback and making that personal connection with each of my customers.
